Crossroads Women’s Wellness

Crossroads Women’s Wellness — a grassroots-led Community Coalition tackling women’s and children’s poverty and ill health through legal and benefit clinics, healthy lunches, gardening, wellness classes, and self-advocacy.

A Philadelphia-based collaboration of Women in Dialogue’s Crossroads Women’s Center, Drexel University College of Medicine, Family Practice and Counseling Network, and the Germantown Meeting Racial and Social Justice Committee. Launched with the help of the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services. Now funded in part by the William Penn Foundation.

Victory! Zeralda/Pulaski Garden is saved!
The Center has a plot at the Zeralda/Pulaski Garden which was threatened by a developer. We joined in the fight to save the garden and not only held off the development, but now own the land, thanks to the Neighborhood Garden Trust which purchased it for us. Story by Rasheed Z.
