Coming Out in Millions with Wages for Housework: Looking Back and Looking Forward
On June 14th, as part of their Pride Month programming, the Parkway Central Library in Philadelphia invited the Wages for Housework Community Archives to do a program, Coming Out in Millions with Wages for Housework, exploring the historical roots of Wages Due Lesbians. One of the speakers, Pat Albright, talked about her experience in the successful 1970s campaign to stop the Philadelphia Daily News from using derogatory language against the gay and lesbian community and rape victims.
